The Woolstore was a collaborative process between DNA Architects and the client, who trusted us by taking a bold step to create an unconventional, yet familiar design for the skyline.
It is a modern twist on a traditional brick building, playing on the notion of adaptive reuse, restored with 21st century luxuries. This multi-residential project was thoughtfully designed and constructed with the end user in mind.
After going through the process of designing the The Woolstore, DNA Architects were given the opportunity to carry this vision through to the interiors, with the clear understanding of the intent and how to tailor the interiors for the end user.
Our vision was to create spaces which encompass the New York Loft style of living, drawing natural light into the units and enhancing the generous sense of space. The rich materials merge the exterior palette with a certain sense of softness internally.
